The SPC Life Team for 6th, 7th and 8th graders is sponsored by the parish Respect Life Committee. The mission of the team is to live the Gospel of Life through service to the most vulnerable: the unborn, those with special needs, the poor, the elderly, etc. Our goal is to live out the social justice teaching of respecting the life and dignity of every human person.
Some examples of activities we will coordinate are:
Volunteering at Gigi's Playhouse Dance-a-Thon and walk/run
Volunteering at Timothy's Ministry
Providing basic needs for moms and babies at Heather's House
Visiting residents at Summit of Uptown
Meetings take place one Wednesday per month during lunch to plan outreach/service activities.
