Thank you to the Week of the Young Child Committee for a week of fun for our early childhood! The committee members are Mrs. Hart, Mrs. Rabinak, Ms. Burke, Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Kusinski, Mrs.Sanfratello, Mrs.Dietz, Mrs. Kasprzyk, Mrs. Galvin, Ms. Xamplas, Mrs.Hader and Mrs. Scherer!
Early Dismissal Procedures-A Gentle Reminder
This is a gentle reminder that advance notice is required when you will be picking your child up for an early dismissal. Please email the teacher and the office staff ahead of time or call the office in the morning. It is very disruptive to the classroom teacher when no notice is given. The office staff may not always be able to take your call in a timely manner for the dismissal.
Only in an emergency situation should a parent call during the day to pick a child up early.
We are also seeing a number of forgotten items being dropped off, please try to limit those drop offs.
New Uniform Company
Per our earlier communication, we are changing the uniform supply company to Tommy Hilfiger. The uniform remains the same, and all items purchased from Lands' End will still be permitted. The Lands' End uniform website will be active until May 31, 2022. We anticipate the new Tommy Hilfiger site going live next week. Please look for a separate email blast with all the information. Beginning next school year, we will return to the normal school uniform.
COVID - Please test your child if they have any symptoms
Please remember to test your child if they exhibit any signs before coming to school. We are seeing a slight rise in cases in the area, and I am concerned about the possibility of seeing a rise at SPC. I know we are also nearing allergy season, so symptoms look similar.

Father Daughter Dance April 30th
We are just a few weeks away from our 2022 Daddy-Daughter Dance! As we grow closer to the event we are looking for volunteers for each of the sessions. We need 8 volunteers for set-up as well as 5 volunteers for the first two sessions. We are looking for additional help during the 7:20 pm - 9:30 pm session to assist with clean-up. The volunteer time slots are as follows:
Pre-Dance Set-Up and Decorations: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Session 1: 3:20pm - 5:30pm
Session 2: 5:20pm - 7:30pm
Session 3: 7:20pm - 9:30pm

Sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis. Your time slot will be confirmed via email the week of April 25th.

St. Paul of the Cross Blood Drive
St Paul of the Cross Church is hosting a blood drive in association with Vitalant (formerly LifeSource) on Sunday, April 10th from 8 a.m until 2 p.m. The Blood Drive will be held at the Morello Parish Life Center at 320 S. Washington in Park Ridge (behind the church). Appointments are highly recommended, but walk-ins will be accepted.
Come be a hero and help us save lives -- every 2 seconds someone needs a blood transfusion in this country.
