Graduation picture retakes will take place on March 15th. 

Dear parents of 8th graders-
Please remember to send in the proofs of your child's graduation photo. Retakes will be scheduled once most proofs are returned.

 

New February dates:

Tuesday, February 14th.  8th Grade Confirmation interviews begin

Thursday, February 16th - Cap and Gown Measurements - Jostens will be here by 7:45 am and they are usually finished no later than 8:15. It is done right by Cheryl Matheson's room.

Please click here or the image above to access the form needed to take an Algebra placement test. the score on this test will help Maine South determine a proper math placement for a student's first year of high school. This form is due back to St. Paul of the Cross by Friday, January 27, 2017.

 

 


 

This is to inform you that the eighth grade will not be taking a second MAP test this year.  After speaking with Maine South, it has come to our attention that they only use the fall test results for freshman year placements.  The students will still be taking the Aspire interims throughout the year as well as the Aspire summative in April.

Parents of the 8th Grade ~ SPC Class of 2017

The prep work for the Memory DVD of the SPC Class of 2017 has begun. Please take the time, perhaps over the Christmas holiday, to gather the following photos of your 8th grader:

Individual Photos: Mandatory

• One (1) baby photo – 12 months old or younger – this photo will also be in the Yearbook
• One (1) kindergarten
• One (1) First Holy Communion (2nd grade)
• One (1) 4th or 5th grade
• One (1) 8th Grade (Aug., Sept., Oct. Nov. 2016)

Please make sure that the above photos are of your child only. If you joined SPC in later years, please submit photos from your previous school.

Group Photos: Optional

The committee is interested in group photos including (at the minimum) 3-4 or more classmates taken throughout the years. Must be at an SPC event or with SPC wear (i.e. sporting events, walk a thon, pep rally, dances, fun fair, chorus, concerts, girl/boy scouts, NJHS, academic meets, clubs, field trips, school masses or school assembly, random around school, etc.)

Photos are due by Wednesday, January 18, 2017. There will be no extensions.

If you have trouble attaching or need help editing please email Marikay directly.

Hardcopy: Send photos to SPC in a sealed envelope Attn: 8th Grade Memory DVD to Mrs. Foy’s office. After your photos are scanned they will be returned to you (please allow 2-3 days). IMPORTANT - if sending originals, please label all photos.

These photos will be used for the sole purpose of this memory DVD/Yearbook. Finally, please do not send professional photos or any personal photos such as family vacations, etc. Thank you.
