This 12-color set contains all the paints needed to accurately depict the iconic British and Commonwealth WWII uniform, known as “Battledress” or “No. 5 Uniform.”

The classic British uniform was made from cotton twill, woven with a mix of brown and green fibers, resulting in a greenish-brown or khaki tone that could vary, appearing lighter, darker, more green, or more brown depending on the fabric batch. To cover this range, the Ionic set includes three paints for the khaki base: a dark brown that can also be used for shading, and two distinct khaki tones—one with a greener hue and one more brown.
The webbing was also khaki but treated with a green waterproofing paste, resulting in a wide variety of tones. To capture this variation, the set includes two greenish-khaki colors—one lighter and one darker.
The set also provides the necessary paints to complete a British soldier’s gear, including the green-tinted steel helmet with hessian strips, the canteen, boots, and entrenching tool.
It also includes two skin tones that can be used as a base and shadow, as well as Vanilla, which can be mixed with other tones to add highlights.
All colors can be used directly to paint individual elements of a figure or mixed to create custom shades—especially useful for building depth and volume through highlights and shadows.

This set contains:

Interesting Concept, But Redundant If You Already Use BHA
If you have seen this Glow Rice Exfoliant Ampoule Duo on Instagram or TikTok, you already know the marketing pitch: a gentle, soft peel that physically cleans out pores on your face and body. After testing it, I can confirm that it actually does clean pores, but the mechanism is nothing magical. It relies on the friction of massaging the serum into your skin to clump up and manually extract dead skin and debris. It is a satisfying and interesting process to watch, but it isn't groundbreaking. The biggest drawback is its redundancy if you already have a solid skincare routine. I noticed that when I use this product after my usual BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) exfoliant, it becomes completely ineffective. Because the chemical exfoliant already cleans deep inside the pores and dissolves dead skin cells, this manual friction gel finds nothing left to grab onto. It is a decent, gentle physical exfoliant that does the job, but if you already use a chemical exfoliant like BHA, you can safely skip this social media trend.

Skin feels so soft!
I actually love this stuff it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft after I use it! I don’t see a difference between the two they both work equally imo. Great if you’re in a budget and was great exfoliation!

Not as good as the real thing
I was really hoping to get a less expensive alternative to Dr Melaxin’s version. This just isn’t cutting it - it totally is not as effective, so I’m tossing this and going back. This one just doesn’t pill up as effectively.

Not as effective as original Dr. M
I bought this after reading several reviews that it is as effective as the original Dr. M. Having used both I can assert this product is NOT nearly as effective. I still had some of the original Dr. M. and did a half and half comparison and it was immediately clear. This exfoliate "pills" like the original but not nearly to the degree and when washed away the half I used the leftover Dr. M. was clean of dead skin and showed clear pores. The other half? Not so much. I'll be going back to the original.
