September 10, 2020

Dear SPC Families,

We are nearing the end of week three, and I am grateful for everyone's cooperation in following the guidelines and new protocols. I am hopeful that as we continue to adhere to our new reality at school, we will continue to keep everyone safe and in school.

POWERSCHOOL GRADES 3-8:

PowerSchool is a tool that allows parents to see the up to date grades of their children. This week we will be opening the portal for parent view.

New families and 3rd graders will receive their login information. If you need new login credentials, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Since Schoology is connected to PowerSchool, you will also be able to access grades on Schoology.

SCHOOLOGY GRADES 3-8

You will soon receive login information for parent access to Schoology. Please take a moment to review the video, which includes step by step information on the various aspects of the new Learning Management System. Schoology allows one platform for all aspects of your child's classes: grades, assignments, and teacher communication.

The first CTS Out of Uniform date is tomorrow, September 11th. If you have not had a chance to purchase your Out of Uniform Ten Pack (Grades K-8) and still plan to do so, please click on this link to purchase them before tomorrow, September 11th.
ALL families who purchased the Out of Uniform passes last February (CTS Online) were sent an email reminder last week that they've already purchased them.

There are a total of Ten CTS Out of Uniform Days throughout the school year (also noted on the school calendar):
September 11th
October 2nd
November 12th (This is a Thursday because there is no school on November 13th)
December 11th
January 22nd
February 19th
March 19th
April 16th
May 14th
June 4th

The "Ten Packs" cover your child for the entire year. Several years ago, SPC went "green" with the passes, therefore, they are in the form of a list only. The homeroom teachers will have the final updated lists for their classrooms.
