Welcome Parents! We are excited for the 2024-2025 school year at SPC. As your Home & School board, we invite you to get involved in your children’s school. Home & School is a great way to meet other parents and teachers, spend time with your children, and meet their friends. SPC is a vibrant community made up of extraordinary volunteers, exceptional teachers, and a committed school and parish staff. It is only with your involvement and support that, together, we continue to make this all possible. There are so many volunteer opportunities both at school and from your home. About
The St. Paul Home and School Association is the parent organization at St. Paul of the Cross School. The general goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for service to the St. Paul of the Cross School community in keeping with the mission statement of the school. This Association seeks to cooperate with the Pastor, the administration, school board, and faculty in providing a Catholic education for the students. It operates within the framework of all policies and guidelines of the school and the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education.
Our Mission

- To promote more effective communication between the school and the home in order to provide continuity of the students’ education;

- To sponsor well-planned programs which will encourage the religious, moral, physical, mental, social, and educational growth of the students, the parents and the faculty;

- To create a greater appreciation of Catholic education in its broadest sense; To provide and coordinate lay assistance for the school;

- To assist in fundraising for educational items not funded by the school budget.

Home & School members are represented by a four member Board. Board members serve a two-year term, not to exceed one term. We encourage all parents to attend Home & School meetings. Meetings take place every other month at school.

Our Events and Fundraisers
Back to School Night – August
Join us at Back-to-School Night on the Sunday before school starts. We begin with the Back-to-School Mass, followed by an ice cream social. The K–8th grade students bring their school supplies and visit their new classrooms.
Tiger Fun Run – September
The Tiger Fun Run is a ten-day, all-school program that kicks off on Wednesday, September 18th. We coordinate volunteers, prizes, pep rallies and more for the Tiger Fun Run. The proceeds go to the school’s operating budget.
Restaurant Fundraisers – Year Round
Restaurant Fundraisers are one of the primary sources of fundraising for the SPC Home and School Association.
Fun Fair Fundraiser
An amazing day of fun for the students in a carnival-like atmosphere dressed in their Halloween costumes.
Fun Fair is one of the primary fundraisers of Home and School. The fee that is charged per student covers all of the decorations, candy, lunch for the children and other various HSA expenses throughout the year.
Celebrating the Spirit
A fantastic evening of dinner, entertainment, dancing with our SPC community. This event also provides a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the advancement of St. Paul of the Cross School. The proceeds raised at CTS support programs to benefit our exceptional teachers.
Raise Right (formerly known as T.R.I.P)
Raise Right is a St. Paul of the Cross Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.) and fundraiser that gives participating families the opportunity to earn tuition credit and also raise funds for our school. This is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards.

Scholastic Book Fairs – Year Round

Home and School coordinates the Scholastic Book Fair and volunteers with the school librarian twice per year. We coordinate the use of the funds raised (Scholastics Dollars) with the H&S Board and Teacher Recognition Committee at the principal’s discretion.
SPC Olympics – June
This annual event is all about team building and fun for the students and faculty. We help organize the games, team t-shirts, volunteers, and more.
End of Year Faculty Gift Fund
The Home and School Association is pleased to sponsor the End of Year Faculty Gift Fund. This is a convenient way for parents to give End of Year gifts to all of their children’s teachers and the staff at our school. The SPC teachers and staff truly appreciate the gift.
