The band began forging their innovative sound in Riverside, California, where they were discovered by DJ John Peel (then working in the US as John Ravenscroft). Having cut a few recordings locally, the band relocated to the UK on Peel's recommendation. In London, The Misunderstood signed to Fontana Records to cut what are considered six landmark tracks.

The Misunderstood must rank as one of the greatest cult bands of the '60 psychedelia era. Issued that December, 'I Can Take You To The Sun' remains a high watermark of the original psychedelia era and was backed by an explosive version of Bo Diddley's 'Who Do You Love', but the band broke up soon afterwards when singer Rick Brown was drafted. A second single, the blistering psych rock of 'Children Of The Sun' (backed by the anti-war gem 'I Unseen') was belatedly issued in February 1969 when a new line-up of the band re-signed to the label. In 1982, Cherry Red released the landmark compilation LP, Before The Dream Faded, which not only unveiled two further Fontana recordings, the high octane 'Find The Hidden Door' and 'My Mind' but also collated seven archive tracks from the band's Riverside days. Since then, additional recordings have surfaced on various retrospectives. Children Of The Sun finally assembles

The Misunderstood's entire known output from 1965-1966 onto one package, suitably re-mastered by Alec Palao. With incisive sleeve-notes from Mike Stax (Ugly Things) and involvement with various original band members, and a handsome design from Andy Morten (Shindig!), this is truly the definitive document of a legendary underground band, assembled by those who love their music.

Good quality trash bags with reliable strength and pleasant scent
Size: 140 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 140 Count (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using these Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags (13 Gallon, Gain Lavender scent) for my regular household trash, and overall they’ve performed very well. The material feels strong and flexible, which helps prevent tearing when the bag gets full or when disposing of heavier items. One thing I appreciate is the ForceFlex design, which allows the bag to stretch instead of ripping when handling bulky waste. The drawstring closure is also sturdy and makes it easy to tie and carry the bag without worrying about leaks or spills. The Gain Lavender scent is noticeable but not overpowering. It helps reduce everyday trash odors, especially in the kitchen, which is a nice bonus for a busy household. In terms of capacity, the 13 gallon size fits standard kitchen trash cans perfectly, and the box lasts a good amount of time, making it practical for routine use. What I liked most: The strength and flexibility of the bags stand out. They hold up well even with heavier trash, and the scent adds a fresh touch without being overwhelming. What could be improved: While the scent is pleasant, those who prefer unscented bags may want another option. Also, depending on usage, the price may feel slightly higher than basic trash bags, but the durability helps justify it. Overall: These are dependable kitchen trash bags that combine durability, flexibility, and odor control. I would consider purchasing them again for everyday household use.

Surprisingly great—no more kitchen odors!
Size: 140 Count (Pack of 1)
I honestly didn't think I’d be this impressed by trash bags, but these have been a total game-changer for my kitchen. The Gain Lavender scent is subtle but does a great job of masking that typical "trash smell," and the bags themselves are super strong. The ForceFlex material actually lives up to the name—they stretch without ripping, so I don't have to worry about them breaking on the way to the bin. It sounds silly, but it’s made such a difference in keeping the kitchen cleaner and stress-free. Definitely worth the buy!

I’ve been using these trash bags and I’m honestly impressed. They are very strong and don’t tear easily, even when they’re full or holding heavier items. I like that they have a good capacity and fit perfectly in my kitchen trash can. They also help prevent leaks and bad odors, which is a big plus. I’ve used them for daily trash as well as bigger clean-ups, and they’ve held up really well every time. Definitely a reliable option if you’re looking for durability and quality. I would buy them again
