Give your furry family members plenty of fresh, flowing water to sip with the Drinkwell® Platinum Pet Fountain. This fountain has a 1.3-gallon water capacity so whether you have a cat, dog or multiple pets, every pet will stay happy and hydrated.
What’s great about this dog and cat water fountain is its removable water reservoir that snaps onto the back of the fountain. As your pets drink from the bowl of the fountain, the reservoir automatically refills the fountain bowl to maintain the water level. When the water reservoir is running low on water, simply remove it from the fountain to refill. The reservoir also has a snap-on lid to help prevent water from spilling during refills or if your pet decides to nose boop the fountain.
Pets love running water and are drawn to it, so pet fountains naturally entice dogs and cats to drink more water. This is awesome because your pet needs 1 ounce of water per 1 pound of body weight to drink every day. This fountain has a free-falling water stream, and you can adjust the water flow, so even the timidest pets feel comfortable drinking from the fountain.
Not only does this cat and dog water fountain work hard to give your pet flowing water, but it also helps keep your pet’s water clean. A plastic pre-filter and carbon filter work together to remove bad tastes, odors and pet hair (and the inevitable drool) from your pet’s water. Meanwhile, the pet fountain pump constantly circulates the water to help prevent bacteria growth.
